Maydos PU Adhesive for Shoe-making is colorless and semi-transparent. It has such features as non-yellowing, easy application, rapid drying speed, powerful viscidity, ultraviolet radiation, aging and damping resistant after solidification. 

Where to use
Mainly used for PVC, PU, TPR, genuine leather, artificial leather, flannel, rubber, furniture, sports material etc. Better oil resistant performance, lower odor and shorter operation time than other brands of PU adhesive in the market and it is suitable for both assembly line and handwork.

Limitations
1. Not for use for bonding metals.
2. Do not use on expanded polystyrene foam.
3. Not suitable for polyethylene or polypropylene plastic.

 

Applications

 

Directions for use

Surface preparation the grease, smirch, rust, moisture of the contacted surface must be cleaned off, surface of bamboo, leather or rubber etc must be matted. 

Recommended apply system
Brushing	The effect will be better if stir thoroughly or make the pot inverted repeatedly in order to mix the glue before use. The contacted surface is brushed by the adhesive in thin layer, brushing toward a same aspect for air getting out to strengthen the powerful viscidity.
Airing	Wait for 5 to 25 minutes (25 Celsius) after brushing, until the condition is proper to agglutinate.
Contacting	Contacting is level one time because the viscidity is super powerful, add pressure or tapping for the super viscidity of continua adhesive.

Remark

The most suitable temperature and humidity for contacting (bonding): 20°C -30°C, humidity: 55%-75%

Adhesive contains VOC, easily burnt, keep away from fire. Make sure the construction site is well ventilated.

Dry for 2-3 mins at 55-60°C →Apply PU Adhesive
→Dry for 3-4 mins at 55-60°C  →Attaching within 1 minute→ Pressing: Pressure:35kg; Time: 10-12s→
Freezing: Temperature: 0°C; Time: 2-3 mins
 

2.For Oily Leather
Roughed Oily Leather→Apply Oil Leather Primer →
Dry for 3-4 mins at 55-60°C →Apply PU Adhesive→
Dry for 3-4 mins at 55-60°C→Apply PU Adhesive→
Dry for 3-4 mins at 55-60°C→Attaching within 1 minute→
Pressing:  Pressure: 35kg ; Time: 10-12s→
